ABSTRACT
We shall refer to the project of interest as “X.” X as the residual signifier of a decimated X-X-X. X as the blindness and vision of X-rays. X as indeterminate, unknown, anonymous. X, denoting excess, multiplication, the plural as suffix. X, denoting loss, as a cross, marker of death, overwriting or obliterating, a void. X as horizontal axis, in relation to an event horizon or limit-experience. X as ek-, the prefix of stasis as X-stasis.
X is the project for the body of nuclear fissile discharge. X crafts exothermic reactions, with the aim of regulating energy, both as electromagnetic radiation and as the kinetic energy of fragments. X is measured in heat, where heat activates libidinal fission. Following the conventions of induced fission reaction, the kinetics of absorbed neutrons turn briefly into excitation energy in the nuclei. The excited, excité, nucleus, potentially climaxes in the splitting of fission product, releasing free neutrons―the discharge of fissile orgasm.
